Dr. Adiel Tel-Oren (or “Dr. T”) is a health pioneer and inventor focusing on Natural Principles, Health, and Sustainability. He is a physician, author, university professor, and holistic scientist. He promotes “functional medicine,” a science-based, natural approach to diagnosis and therapy. He sees patients in 30 clinics in Israel and 40 U.S. locations.
Dr. T works tirelessly with people around the globe to make a difference. He is also the founder of several health and charity programs worldwide, including the Israeli Center for Functional Medicine, the FDH Foundation, and the Ecopolitan Eco-Health Community.
Dr. T’s primary humanitarian project is the creation of a network of schools, orphanages, and community programs - “The Everest Learning Academy” - to educate and nourish the poorest children in Nepal. This network protects and nurtures more than 20,000 children who otherwise would end up on the streets or become victims of trafficking.
The Ecopolitan Community was recognized by the Nepali government as an “International NGO” and Dr. T was awarded the title “Country Director of Nepal” because of his 18 years of sustainable humanitarian projects there. Twice each year he guides Westerners on authentic eco-treks and community-supporting adventures in the Himalayan Mountains. The next Nepali trek and retreat in Thailand is scheduled for October 2016 – and there is still space available.
